Portraits
I shoot portraits in studio or on location ( outdoors / your home / etc. ). Jobs beyond Milwaukee/Waukesha/Racine/Ozaukee county will involve mileage or travel costs unless I can combine your job with another project in the area.
A typical portrait gig does is more than 15 minutes in front of the lens. In order to capture YOU, I like to spend some time with you before getting the camera out and shooting. First, I want to know WHO you are so that I can reflect that better in the images. Secondly, I want to give you time to leave the hustle of the day behind and enter into the "moment." The lens is a magical thing. It sees what IT chooses to see, not what you wish it to see.
My portraits are retouched and post-processed. Depending upon who you are the finished product may be more or less a straight photographic image or digital painting.
It's not unusual for a portrait session to exceed an hour -- please dont schedule yourself so tightly that you need to watch your watch while we're shooting....
