I've been a photographer for over 40 years now.  And about 10 years ago I made a drastic change of direction in my work.

Until then I had done primarily landscape and architectural images and one day I looked at a lifelong body of work that had very few people in it and wondered why.  You see, I'm actually a guy who likes people a lot!

I guess it was partly getting stuck in a box, a category or someone else's definition of what it meant to be a "photographer" but I realized I had become less the photographer and more the artist.

Now, I divide my attention to two areas: Photo-Art and Humanscapes: the landscapes we live in.

But, artsy-fartsy stuff aside I still realized that my kind of images weren't what I was seeing a lot of.... not many other shooters seemed interested in what I found absolutely fascinating.

When we get down to basics, I'm fundamentally a landscape photographer who aims his cameras at a very special landscape:  the human body.  Other photographers do "regular" portraits, or weddings, or actual landscapes, but what i'm interested in is this amazing skin-suit we wear.

I continue doing commercial photography, portraits, weddings and the like. Here, you'll find all the information you need see what kind of photographer I am and decide whether you want to hire me.  But I also use everyday people as artist's models to extend my portfolio of Humanscapes.  You will also find an abundance of examples and information to help YOU decide if YOU would like to be A PART Of Art
